susan: thanks for the tag, Paul! And yes actually 11kg of blackberries... I put them into small plastic bags, about 500g each and freeze them. I was going to dehydrate a couple of kg but my dehydrator is not running properly. I put blackberries on my shredded wheat for breakfast everyday, so I have to pick alot to last me til this time next year when they are ripe again! I like raspberries more but blackberries are free and rasps are not (about $2.50 CDN a kg)

Claire: Our national unemployment rate is quite low (4-5%) In the legal industry, it's higher but the challenge is breaking in in the first place. Doing well (even extremely well) at University has nothing to do with it!

physiology & biochemistry exams

  • Mood: studying is all I am allowed to do...
  • Music: z100 sometimes
  • Weather: so so... more cloudy right now
Last Saturday I took the Physiology exam, today I took the Biochemistry exam and last Tuesday I took the sports-medicine exam... really busy times!!!
If you think that now I'm ready for vacation, you are right! BUT there is more coming up. There will be practical trainings for 7 days Physiology (starting Monday next week) and after that 6 days practical training Biochemistry... all that wouldn't be much fun without exams, of course. This time its oral exams, twice each practical training. Great! To make it all really fun, those exams are a surprise... if the Prof decides to see me Monday and take the exam about the topic of the day, then he does just that... if he likes Tuesday more, it'll be that day....

Ok, as you can imagine, no time to tell big stories (and no big stories to be told..) hope you're doing well out there, in the world, which I can only imagine to exist.

- Paul
